Who I am. This website, Saffron and Argan (saffronandargan.com), is run by Issam Cherrat, who lives in Morocco. I am the person responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach me at YOUR EMAIL.
What I collect. I keep the amount of personal data small.
- Messages you send me. If you write to me, I receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell me. I use it only to answer you, and I keep it for as long as needed to deal with your message and for up to two years afterwards.
- Technical data. Like every website, my hosting provider records standard server information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
- Advertising data. With your consent, Google and its partners may show ads on this site and may use cookies and similar technologies to personalise them and measure them.
Cookies and your choices. When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or refuse advertising cookies. Necessary cookies cannot be switched off, because the site needs them to work. You can change your choice at any time on the Cookie Settings page, and you can delete cookies in your browser settings.
Advertising and Google. I use Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of personalised advertising from many providers through www.aboutads.info or www.youronlinechoices.eu.
Affiliate links. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The seller may set its own cookies to record the referral. Each page with such links says so, and the Affiliate Disclosure explains how I choose what to recommend.
Third party services. The site is hosted by Hostinger, which handles data under its own privacy policy.
Who receives your data. I do not sell personal data. I share it only with the service providers named above, and only so far as needed for them to do their job, or when the law requires it.
How long I keep it. Messages are kept as stated above. Advertising data is kept for the periods set by the providers and by your cookie choices.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask me for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR and the UK GDPR. In Morocco, personal data protection is governed by Law 09-08, supervised by the CNDP, and you may also contact that authority. Write to me at YOUR EMAIL to use any of these rights. I will reply within one month.
Children. This site is written for adults and is not aimed at children. I do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes. If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top of this page.
